    About Me

Bishop Butler is a young man who is just starting out on his own. He is currently focusing on both his education and his work, hoping that with hard work, he will be able to graduate college and find a job in a field that interests him. With that position, he hopes to make his mark on the world. He, like many young people, does not have his entire life planned out, but he is confident that with the drive he possesses, he can achieve great things. Here's a little more information about Bishop Butler and where he wants to go.

    Prior Learning

Bishop went to Benton High School in Benton, Arkansas. He graduated as a straight A student in the spring of 2020. While graduating from high school may not appear to be a huge accomplishment, Mr. Butler has a few things that set him apart. To begin with, he graduated high school just as the Coronavirus pandemic hit and shut everything down. There was a lot of uncertainty at the time, but he completed and graded his schoolwork. He was also a National Merit Scholar Finalist. This is a huge accomplishment that only about 1% of all high school students in the country achieve. To be considered for this award, you must not only have good grades, but also high PSAT/NMSQT test scores, as well as accomplishments that distinguish you.

Mr. Bishop is a second-year student at the University of Arkansas. Despite his lack of college experience, he has managed to maintain a 3.5 GPA. He is currently a computer science major, and he hopes that one day he will be able to use his major to work in the video game industry or to create computer software that will benefit the world. Mr. Butler still has over two and a half years of college left, so he has time to narrow down the exact type of position he wants to take upon graduation.
